David J. Cauthon, DPM
Board-Eligible Podiatric Surgeon
Dr. David Cauthon received his bachelor of science in pharmaceutical sciences at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in Missouri in 2001. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, in 2012.
Dr. Cauthon completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in 2015. While there, he served as chief administrative resident and received a certification in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Cauthon is eligible for board certification in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
He is a running enthusiast and active member of the San Antonio Road Runners. He formerly served on the race committee for the Arizona Road Racers.

Dr. Elias Cheleuitte received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University, and his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 1994. He completed his residency at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois.

Richard Childers, DPM
Double Board-Certified Podiatric Surgeon
Dr. Richard Childers received his bachelor of science in biology from the University of Akron in 1977, and his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland in 1982. He completed his podiatry residency training in the orthopedic department at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1989.
Dr. Childers earned his board certification in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and he is also board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Childers joined The Podiatry Group of South Texas in 2005. His earlier podiatry experience includes serving military service members at Lackland Air Force Base.

Rolando Santellana, DPM

Dr. Rolando Santellana received his bachelor of science in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2007 and his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, in 2014.
Dr. Santellana completed his residency training at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas, in 2017. He served as chief resident of podiatry and received specialized training in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive Charcot foot surgery, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage.

Peter M. Williams, DPM
Board-Certified Podiatric Surgeon
Dr. Peter Williams received his undergraduate degree at Austin College and his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 1982. He completed his residency training at the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Waco, Texas.
Dr. Williams received his board certification in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Williams treats patients of all ages for general and surgical foot problems. He sees patients in the office, the emergency room, and hospital. Because many of his patients have diabetes, Dr. Williams is well-versed in the many issues and complications they experience. His medical services include everything from trimming diabetic toenails to major foot surgery.
With a special place in his heart for the underserved, Dr. Williams has been a longtime volunteer at free clinics throughout the community and has participated in medical missions to Mexico and Africa.
