About our Greater San Antonio podiatric practice
Our offices are open Monday through Friday. Appointments may be made through our web site or by calling the desired office. Directions are also available on our web site. On occasion, changes may occur in the doctor’s schedule such as meetings, emergencies, or to attend continuing education conferences. If you have an appointment schedule during one of these absences, you will be contacted, as soon as possible, for rescheduling.
Patients may be seen on an emergency basis and will be scheduled as soon as possible. Please call your doctor’s office directly. If you are unable to reach your doctor, and your condition requires immediate attention, please proceed to the emergency room of your local hospital and request the emergency room physician to communicate his report to your doctor.
The Podiatry Group accepts assignment from all major insurance carriers as well as workers’ compensation. We also provide care through a variety of managed care plans such as health maintenance organizations (HMO’s) and preferred provider organizations (PPO’s). Generally, HMO referrals are made to us through your primary care physician. Self referrals are usually permitted for PPO participants. Point of service (POS) plans are a modified PPO which may require a physician referral.
It is our sincere desire to provide you with the best podiatric medical care possible and that you and the podiatric physicians of The Podiatry Group have a pleasant relationship. If any problems or questions arise, please do not hesitate to bring them to the attention of your TPG physician or our Central Business Office.
